SCUUJA Partners with SC NAACP and UU the Vote

Midterm elections are coming soon. The SC primary will be on June 14. We UUs and partners are bringing our values to the election. We are working together for justice and equity.

“This year we must ignite a groundswell of engagement that strengthens our communities and deepens our impact through collective work. In 2020 our collective work–postcards and letter writing parties, ongoing phone banks, actions and events–resulted in our national community reaching out to 3 million voters” (UU the Vote 2022) Can we do it again? Can we do more? Sign up at uuthevote.org

The SC NAACP will help us with our goals by providing training, names and numbers to call when phone banking, and helping us to make SC a place where everyone who is eligible to vote CAN vote. And if you are already ready to volunteer, we need poll observers for June 14 (the NAACP will train you). Email Rev. Jean Heriot for more about this opportunity and many others.
